Hi, am self-taught where PCs are concerned. On start up of desktop, main drive cannot be located / boot failure - RIP [resting in peace!]. Desperately need to retrieve data from this "dead HDD". When I replaced the "dead HDD" with other HDDs, PC was able to boot with XP OS. Looking for solution because my brother-in-law's life time work is stored in the "dead HDD". Is Windows Ultimate Boot CD v 3.1.10A my solution???
